Dear There are few Irish symbols as well-known as the Claddagh ring that has its origins in our home city of Galway.
This antique 1964 Claddagh ring can be seen at the unique museum for Claddagh rings in Galway City that is run by a small family run business who hold the oldest license in the world to produce Claddagh rings. This world famous and much loved ring is now used widely as a wedding band. But was the ring always made of gold? Find out here. Regards, Colm and Susanna.
